Around the 6 month mark Dermot really started noticing and playing with the animals on his exersaucer.

“Ummm… what am I supposed to do with this Mum-Mum cracker?” Fast forward one week and he can’t get enough of them!
Colin is my buddy.
Addie spent the weekend with us and we took Dermot’s first trip to the Aquarium. Dermot slept for the majority of the trip and woke up just in time to eat a bottle in the lobby before we left and headed to lunch.

And someone sat in a highchair in a restaurant for the first time.
Dermot weighed 17lbs at his 6 month check up. We started solid foods a week before he turned 6 months. He loves food and has a hearty appetite. He enjoys listening to music, playing in his office (exersaucer) and just hanging out. Gone are the days of the little baby that needed to be carried around or moving all of the time, he is happy to just chill out.
Addie was here for the weekend too!
I LOVE hanging out with no clothes on.
Mama tried to play all sorts of games with me. I laugh and let her think she is funny.
There’s been quite a bit of debate about who Dermot more closely resembles — Mom or Dad — but there’s no debating that he shares Mom’s taste in food. Dermot tried solid food for the first time today, a teaspoon of a mashed sweet potato, and he loved it!

“Okay, I’ll look up at Mom if you promise to bring me back inside. But I’m not smiling.”
Had to move my tubby into the real tub because I’m so big and splash so much!
Dad assembled my Exersaucer this week. My cousins call it my “office”. I think I’m going to like it in here eventually but right now I am not sure!
Still not sure. Maybe a little over-stimulated?
I had my first boys only sleepover with my cousin Colin. Neither one of us would smile nice for Mama. Colin showed me his super heroes and explained all the characters in the Batman show to me!
Mom is still forcing me to do this Tummy Time business.
I give up!

Mom-Mom, Pops & Uncle Tommy stopped by to visit on their way back to Merrimack after Christmas break. I loved hanging out and watching football.
